Anxiety, Advice... Voila... A Baby Room!

After several weeks of planning, and countless cross border shopping trips to Target, the baby room is now completed.

Our decision for the "Classic Winnie the Pooh" them orginated during one of our regular cross border shopping trips down to Seattle last summer. While shopping at our favorite store (Target), we accidently found an isle that carried everything imaginably Classic Pooh. We felt that the theme would be unique as Classic Pooh items are hard to acquire in Canada. Another important reason was that it worked well with the already pre-painted green bedrooms.

This would be my first ever home improvement project. I naturally called a good friend Clayton, who was very helpful in ideas such as chair mouldings and wall papering. With his help, we installed the mouldings using an air compressor and finishing nail gun.

After the installation of the mouldings, they were filled and painted was applied for the finishing coat. A wallpaper border was added and voila... the baby room was completed. I now feel a lot more confident of taking on larger home improvement projects in the future, thanks to the advice and support from my friend.

Two important life lessons during this little project...

1. Help & Advice is never too far away with good friends

2. An air compressor will be on the top of my Christmas Wishlist!
